
After leaving College, he was cast at the Theatre by the Lake, Keswick,
in 'The Wizard of Oz', playing the Scarecrow.
For 2 years (Aug 2002 to June 2004) he toured in 'Whistle Down The Wind', playing Amos.
Garrie has also worked in Radio: 'The Owl Service' (BBC Radio 4),
and 'Bernstein Mass' (BBC Radio 3).
In 2006 Garrie played Captain Arthur Donegal in The Finborough's acclaimed revival of the 1899 musical 'Florodora'; and that Spring & Summer made his West End debut, reprising his 'Whistle Down The Wind' role as Amos (young lead with motorbike).
Soon after, he was the male lead, Toy Soldier, in 'Toys' (inspired by Tchaikovsky's 'The Nutcracker'), in the 2006 'Perfect Pitch' showcase of new British musicals.
From Nov 2006 till Feb 2007, Garrie played the crooner, Jimmy Powers, in the musical 'City of Angels', directed by Nikolai Foster, at the English Theatre in Frankfurt.
Spring & Summer 2007 were spent as Lead Vocalist in a series of Concerts, eg 'The Music of the Night'.
Since then Garrie has been filming, and has been performing as a Tenor at various events, including Corporate work.
From April 1 to June 28 2008, Garrie (using his full name Garrie Robert Harvey) was in the UK Tour of the musical 'Aspects of Love', visiting Darlington, Hull, Belfast, Cambridge, Swansea, Wimbledon, Bristol, Cheltenham, Liverpool, Leeds, & Ipswich.
